[If you read only one article on noise and wind turbines, the one referenced below would be a good choice.]

Rick Cummings, a U.S. acoustics expert, has written an article on dealing with the noise impacts of wind turbines, and addressed it to the wind energy development industry.

It was published on February 22, 2011 on the website of Renewable Energy World.  You can read the article HERE.

Cummings runs the Acoustic Ecology Institute, a U.S. non-profit organization that concerns itself with a wide variety of topics relating to “sound and listening”.

In the article, Cummings suggests that the wind industry should stop ignoring / denying community concerns and start working towards mitigating noise.
